Love & Relationships: Advice on Finding Love

Love Intervention

"Love is the source of Life". I believe in this quote because it is very true that love is Everything we surround ourselves with. Finding love is not easy but  we somehow put on a smile and carry on saying things like "I'm happy to be single", "I can do everything myself, I don't need a man", "I'm independent" and so on. Really? Is that how you feel or are you blocking yourself off from this world where Love is everywhere? How do you want to live your life? Single? Independent? I have yet seen that woman and I hope a Love Intervention will help you break down those walls. Lets start with Self Love:

Peeling Back the Layers

Self-Love is the best way to start out the healing process. Lets peel back some layers and dig within the inner core of Why you won't give Love a chance". How long does it take for you to stop going to clubs, the bars, and other social gatherings? Don't get me wrong tho! Clubs and social gatherings are Fun with Friends and Birthday Parties. BUT some girls I know have to do it on a Every Week Day/ Weekend tip. That is not a cool look because Trust some ladies go looking for a man, boyfriend, fling, attention or and husband!LOL! (Know your self worth)! How many trips to the mall are you going make to find that  "freakum girl dress"? Yes, been there, done that. Guess what? I didn't find love that way. Let me not start on the "I'ma find me a God-Fearing man in Church"...ummm those are the worse ones! In My Opinion! I'm Just Saying, I heard too many stories about the "Church Route"...I'm not judging if thats where you prefer or found a special someone...My Advice is to Be Caution. Reason why? Umm, lets just say there is no such things in finding the "Best" man in the church...to me they are borderline "rushy". Like theres some issues that are deep with the Find a Man in the Church Route...my opinion. Maybe there is some great ones in there...maybe lol.

So here my experience when it comes to love. Self-Love as I see it means...Focusing on ME! Finding my "Happy"(another one of my recent Blog you should check out). When I wasn't looking for Love, somehow Love came and found me. I had to learn how to love myself and building a strong relationship with God. Its funny because, once I put my trust in God Everything fell into place. With Self-Love you have to get raw and peel back the layers that are troubling you. If you were hurt in a past relationship, learn to take time to heal and get over the heartbreak. Don't dwell on the Old Love that is not going to work for you. Peel back whatever layer that is covering your heart. Breathe. Take your take and enjoy life. Love will always be there waiting...You just have to be patience and wait til you are ready to get back out there! The Dating World that is!   Remember its okay to Love...its a source of Life.

Post Surgery Recovery: wk 3

Progess is Recovery!
Thank God today is much better then the first couple of weeks! Week 3: is a much better week for me because I have a little movement in my arm I'm not on bed rest, I can stop asking my husband to do this, do that for me. Even tho I know Adam don't mine helping me out. The pain is fading really slow which is a good thing because I thought the pain was going to last forever. Today I was able to lift a few things but not too much because I don't want to over work my arm. Nurse Van Tessal came by today and I must say I was upset because she came too early and I know it takes me 30 minutes in the shower now to remove bandages and tape markings. I just hate having people wait on me because I know Nurse Van Tessal is on a time limit per home she have to visit. Yet my wonderful Nurse didn't mind not one bit that she had to wait for me. She is so sweet, by far the sweetest nurse I ever met. She really knows how to make me and my family feel comfortable as if she knew us for years, she even love my "animal kingdom" of 3 cats and 2 dogs. She too is an Animal Lover!lol My animals even like her so that is a major plus to me! Every time Nurse Van Tessal is with me, I feel normal because i know she is working with other patients that are just like me, with my same condition. She tells me great stories of her life, family and friends. I even share great stories about my future with her...Every hospital needs a nurse like Van Tessal. She has a warm personality that is easy to get to know and love. She makes me laugh at times I should be scared that she is about to care for my injuries. I just love her energy!

Nevertheless, she is an awesome nurse and I'm thankful to have her around helping me and my family out. Caring for someone after post surgery is a hard task but I must say my husband and my mom have been doing a great job. It takes a lot of patience to deal with someone who is in a lot of pain but they sure know how to handle me.  The fact that my mom been a nurse for over 30 years is just a major plus in my life. She has been caring for me in the most careful way as possible all my life. My husband is Amazing and I just love him so much for working hard caring for me day in and day out. His patience is something that must be a gift because I really don't know how he do it, then go to work 8 hrs EVERYDAY, then come home, clean, cook, bathed me, and dress me...Wow! Love him for Everything!

This has been a better week for me and I look forward for many more!

Find Your "Happy"

"Lord I Lift My Hands to You"
Something came over me today about what makes me happy, and how did I find that "happy". So I ask you, what and how did you find your "Happy"? Lets define the term "happy" first, Happy is a apart of our everyday five senses. I challenge you to zone yourself out from the Internet social world and to sit alone without any distractions and ask yourself these questions just when you feel as if life is a struggle, life is too hard or "why me". You have to think really hard about this because it's easy to say, "Oh my family, friends, career, boyfriend or husband makes me Happy"! Not the answer I was searching for. Try that moment when you are alone and you start to draw, sing, dance, act, rap, jog, and listen to music. Did you find your "Happy" zone in those moments? Well let me share with you how I found my "Happy". I hope this inspires you.

My "Happy" zone is in the Lord. I Found my love for Christ and the most trying time in my life. He came to my aide in the time of need. I thank the Lord for that each and everyday because I never knew how the Lord works til I got on my knees and prayed. I prayed hard and long in tears and this comforting feeling I got afterward was unbelievable...therefore, I become a believer in what a prayer can do. Yes this is my Testimony! My Happy is the Lord! Especially in my gospel music. Every time I zone out with my Pandora station strictly on Gospel music, it restores alot in my soul and I Love it. I call this "My Happy" because all the negative things I feel don't ever exist in this happy zone. I Rejoice today, tomorrow, the next day, next month because of this great comfort of knowing that the Lord is on my side and in my corner. Whenever I need Him, He is there for me without a doubt. I can never doubt his work because of the change he made in my life. It just amaze me how the Lord gave so much for me and I owe a honest living to Him. The Sacrifice He made is enough for my to say "okay, I made mistakes because I'm human, I seen the work of You Lord, For you have capture my heart and I am Yours Forever". He went the distance for me and that is so awesome therefore my Happy is forever in Him.

I never been the type to force religious on anyone, but I just want people to know its okay to take a leap out on Faith. Accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior is a hard step many can't press to do, but if there is ever a time in your life you felt that "Happy" moment, what is the first thing you say? "Thank You Jesus" or my favorite "I'm Blessed". lol Take a leap in Faith or Spiritually and you too will find the comfort of the Lord.
